Simple, transparent data use.
ValeDB does not provide accounts, logins, comments, payments, or user-uploaded content. We do not ask visitors to provide a name, email address, or other profile information to use the database.
This policy applies to valedb.com and was last updated on July 23, 2026 (Hong Kong time).
What the site uses now
ValeDB is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited technical request data, such as IP address, browser or device information, page requests, and security signals, to deliver, secure, and measure the site. ValeDB also stores a visitor’s selected colour theme locally in the browser; that preference does not identify the visitor and is not sent to ValeDB.
Anonymous skill-interest counts
When a visitor opens a skill detail page, ValeDB records an anonymous daily count for that skill to understand which skills visitors are researching. A browser contributes at most one count for the same skill per day. We do not store an account, name, email address, IP address, device identifier, search text, or a list of skills viewed by an identifiable visitor for this purpose.
These counts are used only as aggregate community-interest data, for example to identify which skills may benefit from clearer database coverage or a future community summary.
Advertising
Advertising is not active on ValeDB at the time of this update. If Google AdSense or another advertising provider is activated, this section will apply before advertisements are served.
Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, measure, limit, and personalise advertisements where permitted. These providers may collect and use information from visits to this and other websites in accordance with their own privacy policies. Google’s advertising settings can be managed through the visitor’s Google account.
Where required by law, ValeDB will use an appropriate consent mechanism before non-essential advertising technology is used. Visitors can decline or change their choices through that mechanism when it is available.
Third-party links
ValeDB may link to official game pages, community resources, or other websites. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies and practices.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the site, analytics, or advertising setup changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page. For a correction or privacy question, please use the contact page.
私隱說明
